Clock/Time Synchronization Solution
shows a clock/time synchronization solution in base station access network. The
clock/time synchronization principle is as follows: The clock obtained by the OLT serves as the
clock source and transmits signals to the base station through xPON lines.

Internal clock sources are not recommended because they are in free oscillation state and
