PERFORMANCE INIT 2/3
-- The PERFORMANCE INIT 2/3 page,
shown in Figure 5--6, is used to set the speed schedules for climb,
cruise, descent, departure, and arrival. The PERFORMANCE
INIT 2/3 page is also used to set the default descent angle. In PILOT
SPD/FF, these speed schedules are used for making ground speed
predictions. In the CURRENT GS/FF mode, the ground speed
predictions are unaffected by the speed schedules. The active FMS
speed command, provided as advisory information to the pilot, uses
the appropriate speed schedule based on the phase of flight.

— 1L
-- The CLIMB speed schedule is displayed in calibrated
airspeed (CAS). Changes are made by entering a CAS in the
scratchpad and pushing 1L. A pilot entered climb speed
schedule is stored from previous operation and is displayed on
initial power up. Entering *DELETE* returns to the default climb
speed schedule as defined in the ACDB.
Pilot entered values between 60 and Vne are permitted. Any
value entered outside of 60 and Vne results in the INVALID
ENTRY scratchpad message being displayed. A default value of
120 knots is displayed at 1L if the ACDB is invalid or unavailable.

-- The CRUISE speed schedule is displayed in CAS. Changes
are made by entering a CAS in the scratchpad and pushing 2L.
Pilot entered cruise speed schedules are stored from previous
operation and are displayed on initial power up. Entering
*DELETE* returns to the cruise speed schedule as defined in the
