Report codes beginning with '5' represent information about
the bypassing of intrusion zones. The number following the
'5' typically represents the physical zone in the installation,
designated '1' (Zone 1) through '0' (Zone 10), which has
been bypassed. If any zone numbers greater than 10 are
used for intrusion zones, their numbers must be "mapped"
into zone designations 01 through 10 during the installation.
In this sample report:
9876 56
Subscriber 9876 has transmitted the
bypassing of intrusion
Zone 6 (or any intrusion zone mapped to '06' during the
installation [e.g. 16, 26, 36, etc.]).
additional examples:
51 = bypassing of intrusion Zone 1 (or 11, 21, 31, etc)
52 = bypassing of intrusion Zone 2 (or 12, 22, 32, etc)
53 = bypassing of intrusion Zone 3 (or 13, 23, 33, etc)
54 = bypassing of intrusion Zone 4 (or 14, 24, 34, etc)
55 = bypassing of intrusion Zone 5 (or 15, 25, 35, etc)
56 = bypassing of intrusion Zone 6 (or 16, 26, 36, etc)
57 = bypassing of intrusion Zone 7 (or 17, 27, 37, etc)
58 = bypassing of intrusion Zone 8 (or 18, 28, 38, etc)
59 = bypassing of intrusion Zone 9 (or 19, 29, 39, etc)
50 = bypassing of intrusion Zone 10 (or 20, 30, 40, etc);
see NOTE 2, below
NOTE 1:
As indicated by the above listing, when mapping
zones beyond the 10 specified here, the digit
following the initial '5' will correspond to the last
(least significant) digit of the zone number being
bypassed.
NOTE 2: While the receipt of '50' by the CP-220A can
represent a
bypassing of intrusion Zone 10 (or
any intrusion zone "mapped" to Zone 10), it can
also represent the bypassing of any
non-intrusion zone (e.g.,
fire, panic, tamper,
medical, environmental) without providing the
zone number of the
non-intrusion zone. Thus, in
this sample report:
4567 50
either intrusion Zone 10 (or another such zone mapped to
Zone 10) has been bypassed; or an unspecified
non-intrusion
zone has been bypassed.
NOTE 3:
Depending on the panel, the Bypass Report may
be sent at the moment the bypass is initiated, or
delayed until the system is subsequently armed.
