ADEMCO Contact
(Point) I.D. Format
IMPORTANT!
The ADEMCO Contact (Point) ID
format can be processed by the CP-
220A only if it has been set up as an
“FBI Receiver” or an “ADEMCO
Receiver” in
PARAMETER 02 (see
page 2-76). In addition, the CP-
220A must have an REC-5 Memory
Card with software of Version 3.6 (or
higher), and an REC-11 Line Card
receiving such transmissions with
software of Version 2.5 (or higher).
The ADEMCO Point I.D. FORMAT
cannot be processed if the
“RADIONICS Receiver” option has
been selected in
PARAMETER 02.
After the RG (Receiver No./Group
No.) designation, the ADEMCO
Contact I.D. format provides 13
additional characters to define the
event being reported, as follows:
ACCT
=4-digit Customer I.D.
Number
Q
=1-digit Event Qualifier
EEE
=3-digit Event Code
GG
=2-digit Partition Number
ZZZ
=3-digit Zone (or User) Number
Note that the date and time
appear, as well.
ADEMCO Contact (Point) I.D. Reporting Format
identifies
designated protective areas through a unique zone I.D.
number, while associating with it a particular system event
or condition. Once received by the CP-220, this format will
be displayed (and printed) with the following information:
• a
4-digit
Account Number
• a
1-digit
Event Qualifier
• a
3-digit
Event Code
• a
2-digit
Partition Number
•
Either of the following:
1.
a 3-digit
Zone ID Number
reporting the
location of the alarm (or zone trouble,
bypass, or supervisory condition) or
2. a 3-digit
User Number
to identify the
individual disarming or arming the system
during the transmission of
Opening/Closing
reports.
Below, the

produces, in addition to the
Receiver
and

CUSTOMER I.D. (ACCOUNT) NUMBER
Like most formats, the Customer (or Subscriber) I.D. or
Account Number is limited to 4 characters, which may be
numeric (e.g., 1234), hexadecimal (e.g., ABCD), or a
combination of the two (e.g., 16F7). A four-digit Account
Number is always required in this format.

The Event Qualifier gives specific information about the
event being reported, represented by the following three
conditions:
