3.3.8 Condensate separator for humid areas
If the TITANUS PRO·SENS® is operated in environments where condensate
can form in the pipe system, a condensate separator is used. The
condensate separator is placed at the lowest point of the pipe system
between the air filter and aspirating smoke detector to collect the
condensate.
Areas of application
The condensate separator is used in the following areas:
▪ Areas with heavily fluctuating temperatures (high air humidity)
▪ Areas with fresh air monitoring.

The 45° angles allow for an optimum distance to the wall. The condensate
separator can be operated within a temperature range of 0 °C … +50 °C.
The sinter filter in the condensate separator has a pore width of 50 µm and
provides additional coarse absorption of dirt particles.
