II. Authorizing the User to use a Type of Service
Use the
local-user
command to authorize the local user to use a type of service.
Perform the following configuration in system view.

By default, the user is authorized to use all types of services.
III. Setting the user level
The user level is prior to the privilege level of user interface. This means that when both
levels are set, and the user logs in via the user interface terminal, the level is
determined by the user level.
Perform the following configuration in system view.

The user level is determined by the parameter
level
, which ranging from 0 to 3. Level 0
is the lowest level and level 3 is the highest. The user level is not set by default.

Authentication, Authorization, and Accounting (AAA) provides users with security
functions of AAA described as follows:

Authentication: To authenticate users to access the network.

Authorization: To authorize a user to use specific services.

Accounting: To record the utility of the network resources.
