About your Vehicle

Luggage compartment lid

Opening

The luggage compartment lid can also be opened with the ignition

key at off.
Push release button

on the left edge of the driver-side ﬂoor or

press button

on the ignition key for more than 2 seconds.

Stand in front of the vehicle, slightly lift the lid and pull the

retaining lever

to lift it completely.

The lid is held open by two gas struts

The luggage compartment is illuminated by an internal light that

comes on automatically when the luggage compartment lid is

opened.

Important note

After removing the battery from the vehicle or disconnecting

it from the electrical system, a door lock/unlock cycle must be

performed using the buttons on the key when reconnecting so

that the release button

resumes normal operation (electronic

system self-acquisition procedure).
