If You Cannot Start a Telnet Session
There are two situations where an attempt to start a Telnet session
may fail:
1 The maximum number of remote console sessions that can
be open at the same time has been reached.
The system allows a maximum number of remote console ses-
sions to be open at the same time. If this number is reached, the
system rejects further requests for new console sessions. For
most systems, the maximum number is nine, including local con-
soles where applicable.
Wait until one of the nine sessions is available and try again.
