Paper Jams

QMS 4060 Print System Operation

4-26

If jammed paper is still not visible, paper may be jammed
between the LCOS and the printer. Separate the LCOS from
the printer and check for jams.

Pull the LCOS latch lever toward you, and move the LCOS as
far as the stopper that connects the LCOS to the printer
allows (about 1 inch).

Check for any paper jammed between the LCOS and the

printer.

If no other paper jam messages appear on the printer’s control
panel, you’re ready to reattach the LCOS and resume printing.

If the control panel shows another type of jam, search the area
indicated.

10 Reconnect the LCOS and the printer.
