4.3
Before first operation
The breathing system must be reprocessed before the device is operated for the
first time.
4.3.1 Inserting
the
O
2
sensor cell
If the device is equipped with an O
2
sensor, an O
2
sensor cell must be inserted into
the O
2
sensor.
1. Disassemble the O
2
sensor (see "Disassembling the O
2. Insert the new O
2
sensor cell (1) into the O
2
sensor.
After the O
2
sensor cell has been inserted, the initialization phase of the O
2
sensor takes place. The initialization lasts 30 minutes. The 30 minutes start when
the mains power supply is established.

1. Place the sensor cap (1) on the O
2
sensor.
