Fluids and Pressure
The following cautions should be followed when using fluids under pressure:
To avoid injury, use care when dealing with fluids under
pressure.
Fluids under pressure have enough force to
penetrate the skin. These fluids can cause a minor cut
or opening in the skin. If injured by escaping fluid, see a
doctor immediately. Serious infection or adverse reaction
to the fluid can result if not treated immediately.
To avoid injury, do not put your hands in front of fluid under
pressure. Fluids under pressure can penetrate skin and
clothing and cause injury.
