To prevent possible personal injury while using grinding
wheel, adequate eye protection must be worn; faceplate,
safety goggles.
3. Grind ring gear (2) at four to six points evenly distributed around ring gear as deeply as
possible. See Figure 1139.

NOTE:
Take care not to damage adapter when grinding. The minimum distance of grinding
disc to adapter: A=1 mm.
