Description
allPhysicalDisks
Returns information about all physical disks in the storage
array.
NOTE: To determine information about the type and
location of all physical disks in the storage array, use
the
allPhysicalDisks
parameter.
driveMediaType
retrieve information. Valid physical disk media are these:
•
HDD—Use this option when you have hard
physical disks
•
in the expansion enclosure.
•
SSD—Use this option when you have solid state
physical disks in the expansion enclosure.
•
unknown—Use if you are not sure what types of
physical disk media are in the expansion
enclosure.
•
allMedia – Use this option when you want to use
all types of physical disk media that are in the
expansion enclosure.
physicalDiskType
The type of physical disk for which you want to retrieve
information. The valid physical disk type is SAS.
physicalDisk or physicalDisks
Identifies the enclosure and slot where the physical disk
resides. You can enter enclosure IDs and slot IDs for one
or several physical disks. Enclosure ID values are
0
to
99
.
Slot ID values are
0
to
31
. You must put parentheses
around the enclosure ID values and the slot ID values.
summary
Returns the status, capacity, data rate, product ID, and
firmware version for the specified physical disks.
NOTE: To determine the type of physical disk in a
specific location, use the
physicalDisk
parameter, and enter the enclosure and slot IDs for
the physical disk.
Show Physical Disk Channel Statistics
This command shows cumulative physical disk channel data transfer and error information. If the RAID controller
module has automatically degraded a channel, this command also shows interval statistics. When using this command,
you can display information about one specific physical disk channel, several physical disk channels, or all physical disk
channels.
