Maintenance and Adjustment of the UV
9) Connect water pump inlet hose.
10) Connect coolant outlet hose.
11) Remove the air bleed bolt (1).
12) Fill the cooling system with the
recommended coolant until coolant
comes out of the hole for the air
bleed bolt.
13) Install the Air bleed bolt.
9 Nm or 6.5 ft · lb
14) Fill the radiator.
15) Install the radiator cap.
16) Fill the coolant reservoir with
the recommended coolant to
the max level mark (a).
Note:
Adding water instead of coolant
lowers the antifreeze content of the
coolant.
17) Install coolant reservoir cap.
18) Start the engine, warm it up
for several minutes to allow the
coolant to circulate through the
cooling system.
19) Allow the vehicle to cool off
then recheck the level on the
reservoir.
20) Close the hood.
21) Install the heat shield,
console, passenger’s seat and
driver’s seat.
