Set the charging voltage to 16-17 V.

minutes,
replace
the
battery.

the
timer
to
the
charging
time
determined
by
the
open
circuit
voltage.
Monitor
the
amperage
for

exceeded?
Adjust
the
voltage
to
obtain
the
standard
charging

voltage

battery
sit

then
measure
the

circuit
