There are two RS-422 ports on the projector. One is a 6-pin XLR port (rear of projector) and the other is a 9-
pin D-connector (side of projector). Use any of these ports for communications to and from an RS-422-
compatible controller, and/or as in-and-out ports for networking multiple projectors together on a serial
network (note there is no RS-422 "out" port).
NOTES: 1)
Do not use the rear ports for downloading main software upgrades to the projector-use the 9-pin side
port only.
2)
Upon power-up of an RS-422 network, wait until all projectors are initialized before sending
further commands. Commands sent during initializing will be lost.
Do not use an RS-422 port unless you are using equipment with RS-422 capability.
The voltage levels of this signal can damage incompatible equipment.
