9. Be sure to put the valve caps
back on the valve stems. They
help prevent leaks by keeping
out dirt and moisture.
If
SERVICE TIRE MONITOR
SYSTEM
(service tire monitor
system) appears on the Driver
Information Center display, the
tire matching process was not
completed successfully. Repeat the
procedure.
See your dealer for additional
assistance if needed.
INSPECTION AND
ROTATION
Check your tires and wheels
regularly for unusual wear or
damage.
Make sure the spare tire is secured
properly.

To make your tires last longer,
have them inspected and rotated
at the mileages recommended in
your Maintenance Schedule.
Follow the diagram above.
After rotation, adjust the front and
rear tire pressures according to the
tire information label.
Don’t include the spare tire in your
tire rotation.
If you rotate your tires or replace
any of your tires or tire pressure
sensors, the tire pressure monitor
will need to be reset.
