Midgate Drain Grate

The midgate drain grate, located 
near the base of the midgate in the 
cargo area, can be removed for 
cleaning.

To clean the drain, first remove 
any debris lying on top of the 
midgate drain grate. Then lower 
the midgate. See "Midgate" earlier 
in this section. Pull up on the rear 
side of the drain grate and tilt it 
away from you as you pull it 
straight out. Flush the drain with 
water.

Reverse the procedure to reinstall 
the grate.

Cargo Floor Drains

The four drain areas in the cargo 
bed should be cleaned periodically 
to ensure proper water drainage. 
The cargo mat, if equipped, may 
be lifted or removed to properly 
flush and clean the drains.
