Service and Maintenance

CAUTION
Never drive faster than the
speed for which your tires are
rated, regardless of the legal
speed limit. If you anticipate
driving your vehicle at high
speeds frequently and/or for
prolonged periods of time,
check with your vehicle/tire
dealer for the proper type of
tires to use for your specific
driving and weather conditions.
NOTICE
Vehicles left standing for an
extended period of time may
be prone to exhibit flat spotting
on the tires.
CAUTION
If you use bias-ply tires on your
vehicle, the wheel rim flanges
could develop cracks after
many miles of driving. A tire
and/or wheel could fail
suddenly, causing a crash. Use
only radial-ply tires with the
wheels on your vehicle.
TIRE CHAINS
NOTICE
Do not
use tire chains.
They could damage your
vehicle because there is not
enough clearance.
Tire chains used on a vehicle
without the proper amount of
clearance can cause damage to
the brakes, suspension or other
vehicle parts. The area
damaged by the tire chains
could cause you to lose control
of your vehicle and you or
others may be injured in a
crash.
