1. Open the cap with the washer
symbol on it.
2. Add washer fluid until the tank
is full.
NOTICE
• When using a concentrated
washer fluid, follow the
manufacturer's instructions.
• Don't mix water with ready-
to-use washer fluid. It could
freeze and damage washer
system components.
• When it's very cold outside,
only fill the tank 3/4 full with
fluid to allow for expansion.
• Don't use engine coolant for
your windshield washer. It can
damage your washer system
and paint.
Battery
CAUTION
Do not use a match or flame
near a vehicle's battery. If you
need more light, use a flash-
light.
Do not smoke near a vehicle's
battery.
When working around a
vehicle’s battery, shield your
eyes with protective glasses.
Keep children away from
vehicle batteries.

Batteries have acid that can
burn you and gas that can
explode. You can be hurt badly
if you aren't careful. See the
section titled "How to Use this
Manual" for tips on how to
work around a battery without
getting hurt.
Follow instructions carefully
when working around a
battery.
Battery posts, terminals and
related accessories contain lead
and lead compounds which can
cause cancer and reproductive
harm. Wash hands after
handling.
