CLIMATE CONTROL
SYSTEM
Dual zone climate control systems
allow the driver and the front seat
passenger to independently select
desired air temperatures.
The desired temperature is
controlled by information from
interior sensors, a sun sensor, and
an exterior temperature sensor.
In order for the automatic climate
control system to work properly,
be sure not to cover the sensors.
See "Sensors" later in this section.
The outside temperature appears
in the driver information center
display.
For more information, see "Driver
Information Center" in earlier this
section.
Press the driver’s temperature
knob, fan, defrost,
AUTO
or air
conditioning button on the
climate control panel to turn the
system on.
If you press
AUTO
to turn the
system on, you will activate the
Automatic Mode. See "Automatic
Mode" later in this section.
