To enable this feature, do the
following:
1. Press the
AUTO
button,
located at the bottom of the
inside rearview mirror.
2. Rotate the exterior lights con-
trol to
AUTO
.
The multifunction lever must be in
the center, neutral position for this
feature to work.
An indicator light on the mirror
will come on when this system is
enabled.
When the high beams are on, an
indicator light on the cluster will
also come on.
If this feature is enabled, it will turn
on automatically each time the
vehicle is started.
To disable this feature do the
following:
• Press the
AUTO
button,
located at the bottom of the
inside rearview mirror.
or
• Push the multifunction lever
toward the front of the vehicle
to turn on the high beams.
When the system is enabled, the
high beam headlights will remain
on until one of the following
occurs:
• The system detects the head-
lights of an oncoming vehicle.
• The system detects the tail-
lights of a preceding vehicle.
• The ambient light is bright
enough.
• The high beam headlights are
turned on manually or the
headlight high beam flashing
feature is used.
• Vehicle speed drops below
24 km/h.
• The exterior lights control is
moved out of
AUTO
.
