aw ater System
The raw water system includes a pump, one seacock
and a raw water hose connection. The seacock and raw
water pump can be accessed through the equipment
hatch in the aft cockpit deck.
Inspect the raw water strainer regularly and remove any
debris.
E ercise the raw water seacock periodically to ensure
functionality. Ensure all water is drained from the system
per manufacturer’s instructions.
Maintenance
Maintenance of the raw water system requires periodic
inspection of the raw water intake strainer and all fittings
and hoses for system integrity to prevent leaks.
Clean away debris and or tighten hose connections as
required. The system should be run at least every other
month to keep the pump’s impeller in good condition.

You must protect the raw water washdown pump and its
system components from freezing temperatures. se
the following procedure to prepare this system for off
season storage:
Remove the cap from the hose outlet fitting (the
connection is located on the port midship wall of the
cockpit)
erify that the inlet seacock is in the PEN position
Run the washdown pump for appro imately five
seconds or until water stops owing
Leave the seacock PEN and the hose outlet cap off
during storage
