Shore Power
The dual 1 2 0 v/ 3 0 a shore power system provides dock side
power to operate all of the boat’ s elect rica l system and
to charge the boat’s batteries. se the supplied ft.
power co rds to co nnect your boat to a docksi de power
source . The on board rece ptacl es are loca ted under the
starboard gunwale midships. The AC main breake r panel
for the shore power system is loca ted on the portside
wall in the ca bin.
EX T REME H AZ ARD - Swimming near a b oat
op erating on an AC electrical system can lead to
severe shock and/ or death. Avoid dive op erations/
swimming when AC system is in use.
EL CI ( Eq uip ment L eakage Circuit Interrup ter)
The shore power system on this boat incl udes an
E L CI ( E q uipment L eaka ge Circu it Interrupter) loc ated
under the starboard gunwale next to the shore power
rece ptacl es.
The E L CI is designed to protect people from line- to-
ground shock
haza rds which may oc cu r from defect ive,
misused or neglect ed elect rica l eq uipment. The E L CI
will not prevent line-to-ground elect ric shock,
but does
limit the time of exposure to a period co nsidered safe
for normal healthy persons. If an imbalance of cu rrent is
sensed, the E L CI will trip when the ground fault exc eeds
0 .0 3 0 amps. This tripping act ion will occu
r within a
fract ion of a seco nd to prevent serious injury.
T he recep tacle will not p rotect against line- to-
line or line- to- neutral faults, short circuits or
overloads.
