Waste System V ent
The waste system vents odors associ ated with waste
operations through the starboard midship thru hull fitting.
Avoid over owing the holding tank.
If the
LL light
is lit on the disch arge co ntrol panel loca ted in the head,
you M ST empty the holding tank before the system will
funct ion properly. H owever, it is good pract ice to empty
the tank when the 3 / 4 light is lit.
Dockside Pump - O ut
Dockside discharge is the p referred method of waste
disp osal.
To empty the holding tank, the service of a dock
side
pump-out station is req uired. The docksi
de faci lity will
have a connection to fit the boat. ollow instructions at
the station and make sure the pump out hose is inserted
into the deck
plate marke d “ WAS TE ” loca ted on the port
transom. Acce
ss is gained by use of a speci al ke y that is
incl uded in the operator’ s packe
t.
NOTE : P rior to using either method of disch arging
sewage:
D e-energize the vacu um pump by depressing the
bottom of the rocke
r switch to the OF F position.
D epress the lever on the toilet to deplete the vac uum.
After co mpletion of the disch arge, energize the
vacu um pump by returning the switch to the ON
position.
F ollowing p ump - out, the rocker switch must remain
in the O N p osition for the system to function p rop erly.
