ull Identi cation Number

The Hull Identification Number (HIN) is located on the starboard outboard side of the transom.  

This is the most important form of boat identification and it must be included in all correspondence 

related to your boat.

The engine and electronics model and serial numbers are also important when obtaining parts or 

service for these items.  Record all significant numbers for HIN, keys, engines, capital equipment, 

and electronics on this page for quick reference and keep a copy somewhere safe on shore.
