Chapter 1 Introduction
The hybird 120 and hybird 130 are user-friendly communication systems that link your
voice network to the data network.
The devices are suitable for connecting to an ISDN exchange connection (a point-
to-multipoint ISDN connection is pre-configured). For Internet-based telephony, the hybird
120 / hybird 130 can also be connected to an analogue or IP-based connection, or other
SIP providers may be entered.
Ex works, up to 10 terminals may be connected, while this number can be increased to 20
(hybird 120) or 30 (hybird 130) with a license.
SIP telephones and PC-based SIP telephones are possible as SIP terminals. The SIP ter-
minals must have their own, independent power supply. Four devices can be directly con-
nected, and they are automatically given the pre-configured internal numbers

.
Note
To connect other SIP terminals, analogue or ISDN subscribers that are not being used
can be deleted from the default configuration. The number of terminals can be in-
creased to 20 (hybird 120) or 30 (hybird 130) through the use of terminal licenses.
The maximum number of simultaneous SIP calls can be increased from two to seven
(hybird 120) or twelve (hybird 130) if a license is acquired.
Besides the SIP terminals, you may also use conventional ISDN and analogue equipment
and fax machines, with which you may also make calls via a VoIP provider.
The device has four analogue extensions in all (through two RJ12 sockets and two or three
internal connection terminals) and ISDN BRI connections (RJ45) that may be used both for
internally connecting ISDN terminals and for an ISDN exchange connection, in addition to
the VoIP connection. Ex works, one internal ISDN (BRI) and one external ISDN (BRI) are
preset (that is, to connect to the provider's ISDN connection).
Note
There is no other analogue or ISDN exchange connection with an IP-based connec-
tion.
Three analogue telephones with the internal numbers

and an analogue fax
or multifunctional unit with the internal number
are pre-configured and can be directly
