Remove the bolt, and then remove wheel
mounting base bracket R.

Follow the steps below to remove the wheel
mounting base.
Secure the gear puller to the wheel
mounting base, and then tighten the bolt.
Remove the wheel mounting base from
the motor shaft.
Remove the special nut and washer, and
then remove the wheel mounting base.

Installation of Rear Wheel Mounting Base
Caution
See the list in "Tightening torques" (Page
3-5) .
Note that the Baroness product warranty may
not apply to defects caused by incorrect or
overtorque tightening etc.
For installation, reverse the removing
procedure.
Removal of Kingpin-Left
Caution
Exercise care in handling the kingpin since it
is heavy.
Remove the rear wheel. (See "Removal of
Rear Wheel" (Page 7-18) .)
Remove the rear wheel motor. (See
"Removal of Rear Wheel Motor" (Page
5-64) .)
Remove the steering cylinder. (See
"Removal of Steering Cylinder" (Page
5-82) .)
Remove the tie rod. (See "Removal of Tie
Rod" (Page 7-30) .)
Important
Check and mark position of the slot when
removing the spring pin.
Use the pin puller to remove the spring pin.
