Support the center of the pivot with a jack,
and then loosen the nut.

Follow the steps below to remove the pivot.
Remove the spring washer and washers,
and then pull out the pivot pin.
Lower the jack, and then remove the
pivot.

Installation of Pivot
Caution
Exercise care in handling the pivot since it is
heavy.
Caution
See the list in "Tightening torques" (Page
3-5) .
Note that the Baroness product warranty may
not apply to defects caused by incorrect or
overtorque tightening etc.
Follow the steps below to install the pivot.
Apply grease to the pivot pin.
Apply grease to the pivot pin receptacle
on the pivot.
Place the pivot on a jack.
Raise the jack until the hole of the pivot is
positioned at the hole of the frame.
Install the washer, spring washer and
nut.

Install the right kingpin. (See "Installation of

Install the left kingpin. (See "Installation of
