Proximity sensor
Proximity sensors detect that objects are nearby
through non-contact methods .

If an object gets close to the proximity
sensor, the sensor is set to the "ON" position
and the operation indicator lights up in red.
If an object is away from the proximity
sensor, the sensor is set to the "OFF"
position and the operation indicator turns off.

Inspection of Action Indicator
Caution
Do not short-circuit the battery terminals.
Connect the battery (+) to the connector
terminal (brown/+), and the battery (-) to the
connector terminal (blue/-).
It is normal if the action indicator is
illuminated red when the object to be
detected is close to the proximity sensor,
and the action indicator is turned off when
the object is away from the proximity
sensor.
