Removal and installation of each

Engine

Removal of Engine

Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
Remove the hood. (See "Removal of Hood"
(Page 7-35) .)

Important

Be careful that removed parts do not fall into
the engine.

Follow the steps below to remove the
throttle wire.

Remove the cotter pin from the speed
adjustment lever on the engine.
Remove the washer and the flat-head
pin.
Remove the nut.
Remove the throttle wire.
