Adjustment of Mower Stabilizer
Important
Once the cutting height adjustment has been
completed, adjust the mower stabilizer.
The mower stabilizer shifts the weight of the
cutting unit from the front roller to the rear roller.
(It stabilizes the mower unit and prevents
undulating finish (phenomenon called
Marcelling).)
When using this machine on a markedly uneven
place, shorten (compress) the spring.
Lower all mower units on a level place.
Apply the parking brake, stop the engine.
Loosen the lock nut.
Tighten the nut to adjust (compress) the
length of the spring to 140.0 mm (5.51 in).
Tighten the lock nut.
