Deleting Multiple Entries from a Directory
To delete multiple entries from a directory:
1.
Select an entry you want to delete, and then choose the
Tag/Untag
button.
An asterisk (*) appears in front of the selected entry, and the entry is displayed in a different color.

Repeat step 1 for other entries you want to delete. If you want to delete all of the entries in the
directory, choose
Tag All
from the Tag menu.
3. When you are finished selecting entries, choose
Delete Tagged
from the Tag menu.
The following dialog box appears:
4. Choose the
Yes
button.
A message box appears, displaying the number of entries that were deleted.
5. Choose the
OK
button.
The entries are marked for deletion and are not displayed in the MasterDirectory window. However,
the entries are not removed from the directory. To remove the entries from the directory, you must
"pack" the directory. Refer to "Packing the Directory" later in this chapter.
