The Backplane Ethernet Switch is a 10/100BaseT 2-Port Ethernet switch that provides a
100-Mbps management backplane for ePON modules and eliminates an external data cable
connection. It supports a Fast Ethernet switch option for the management backplane as a
built-in accessory.
