GENERAL INFORMATION
2.1
Description
The range of dedicated digital sets has been extended with a new range of IP-enabled sets: a
range of i7xx IP sets. Developed from M7xx range digital sets, the i7xx IP range has been
developed by:

making the most of recognised advantages,
•
taking into account the requested evolution.

The advantages of the M7xx/i7xx range as of release 1.3

Comprehensive range.
•
New design.
•
Technological developments (new engine, tactile (touch-sensitive) screen HdG terminal, display
speed acceleration possible).

Functional developments (new features).
•
Ergonomic development (GSM type navigator, a proper alphabetical keypad on 2 sets).
•
Seamless upgrading (can be used on the existing installed base).
•
Ready for future developments or options.
•
Possibilities for set software and parameter download/backup.

Call log (holds 10 outgoing calls and 50 incoming calls).
•
Name displayed if included in the internal list.
•
Private internal directory and associated services.
•
Search by name (internal directory).
•
Message lamp management.
•
Distinctive ringing.
•
Terminal/PBX synchronization for languages and locking.
•
Direct voice mail recall (when in standby mode).
•
Programming of hold and store redial functions on the MMC programmable keys.
•
Virtual Desking function (enables users to move their subscriber profile to another terminal).
2.4
The advantages of the IP set range as of release 2.1
As of Release 2.1, certain sets in the M7xx digital set range
(formerly the 2000 Range)
have been
upgraded to IP, while maintaining their functions and ergonomics. These sets are all part of the
i7xx IP set range.
The sets are IP-enabled without any loss of telephone services: IP sets have the same features as
traditional digital sets. In addition, the IP upgrade brings numerous advantages:
