M760/M760E Attendant Console
4.7.1
Recommendations for Operation as class B attendant console
Information
(M760/M760E and old range):
Timeout for the ATDC to display its idle screen. By default this is 2.5 sec (value 250) and can be
reduced to 0 for immediate display (
CI048
).
ATDC deactivation timeout on no answer. By default this is 2 min (value 24), and can be increased
to 21 min (value 255) (
CI091
).
Declaration of the ATDC: Remember to disable the voice mail system first.
Monitoring another set as ATDC: Notification is via an LED or icon which lights up but there is no
audio signal. The pickup feature is not active here.
M760 differences:
Class B operation remains similar to the old range, except for:
The assignment of the keys is described in the following section.
The set ringing settings (tone and volume) and the display contrast, which can only be adjusted on
the set via the PROG key, as with normal mode operation (not as ATDC).
Call overload, where an icon lights up but without audio signal.
Composition of release 1.3
The Multiline function is operational as Active ATDC. Refer to the ATDC user guide.
4.7.2
Key programming
Unlike the MC640 equivalent set in the previous range, there is no longer the group of 6 dedicated
keys (Hold, Reissue storage, Programming, Ring setting, Directory, and Hands free functions).
When the set was used as a class B ACTD, these fixed keys were programmed for the functions
specific to the ACTD (Activate att. console; I/C TL, I/C I, I/C2, internal i/c).
To use these functions specific to the class B ACTD on the M760/M760E set, they will be
associated to the programmable keys.
Programming is possible only using an outside device (operator MMC, IAE), but not directly by the
user. Programming is frozen upon initialisation (see definition below).
When replacing an M640 set with an M760/M760E set (in ATDC operation) the Attendant
Console must be deleted via an MMC and declared again.
