Note: if you have any registration problems, you can restore the factory configuration. Switch on
the telephone by pressing and holding down keys “C” and “5”.
10.6.1
Configuring a WLAN profile
You can save on the handset the data required for at most five different WLANs. The data is saved
in a
profile
. In case of switch over to another network, you only need to activate the corresponding
profile to set up connection.
You can configure a profile in two ways: selection through Site survey or
manual configuration. The selection via Site survey is recommended when you are in an area
covered by the network to be configured; thus, most of the necessary entries have already been
made automatically.
10.6.1.1 Selection via Site Survey
With this method, data from the currently selected access point is used as models for the new
network profile. The handset tries to enter the right values.
Check and correct these entries, for example region (Regulatory Domain) or the WEP/WPA key,
since they cannot be transmitted automatically.
For more information on the entry, see the overview of the parameters in case of manual
configuration. Please respect the data with which you have configured the WLAN.
