To set the handset's audio profile
This operation is used to adapt the audio characteristics (transmission/reception) of a set handset
to suit the system (PBX) and line type.
The available audio profiles are preset and fixed; the TX and RX gains of the handset are set in 3
dB steps with 9 options. This means that the set handset has 9 different audio profiles numbered
from 0 to 8. The default audio profile on delivery is 0.
This function can only be accessed by the operator using the sequence:

After power up and once the initialisation period is complete, a question mark is displayed "

Enter the sequence PROG

98 within 5s.
Using the physical keypad, enter a digit between 0 and 8 to validate the selection of the audio
profile requested:
•
you will hear 2 confirmation beeps, then the set returns to the standby screen.
The audio profiles with their RX (reception) and TX (transmission) correspondence are as follows:
Nota :

if the value of configuration data item DCF442 (value ranging from 0 to 8) is different
from 0, the audio profile will be determined from this value and not from the one stored by
the set.
♦
if DCF442=0, the audio profile is determined by the value stored by the set.
