10.6.1.5 Modifying profiles
Remark about the DHCP server
It is possible to configure the handset in such a way that, in addition to the IP configuration, the
telephony accounts (see "Configuring the SIP server”, p. 27) must be sent by DHCP. If a DHCP
server sends an IP configuration without any account, the handset ignores the DHCP information
and waits for the accounts.
In this case, DHCP flashes continuously, on the top left corner of the screen. It is either the DHCP
server must be configured in such a way that it sends the accounts (see "Supported DHCP
options", p. 31), or an access must be configured manually on the handset.
