Configuring Ethernet switches for SIP phones
9.12.9.1 Remote power supply to SIP phones:
SIP phones 51i, 53i, 55i and 57i are PoE compatible (802.3af).
9.12.9.2 Modes supported by the phone’s integrated switch ports
The IP phones support each of the following methods of transmission:

Auto-negotiation
•
Half-duplex (10Mbps or 100 Mbps)
•
Full-duplex (10Mbps or 100Mbps)
Viewing the result of the negotiation on LAN port of the phone

Press the ‘Options’ key
•
Select in the options list the menu ’Phone Status’ and press on ’Choose’ softkey
•
Select in the menu ’Phone Status’ the ’LAN Port’ parameter and press on ’Choose’ softkey
The informations displayed are the link state, the negotiation method, the speed and the duplex
method that the phone uses on its LAN port.

Press the ‘Options’ key
•
Select in the options list the menu ’Phone Status’ and press on ’Choose’ softkey
•
Select in the menu ’Phone Status’ the ’PC Port’ parameter and press on ’Choose’ softkey
