Aastra Phone 312
10.2.2.3 Using your phone for the first time
Charge the storage batteries for about 4 to 6 hours before using the handset for the first time. This
protective measure prolongs the service life of the storage batteries. The maximum power of the
storage batteries is reached for the first time after three to five charging and discharging cycles.
Regularly place the handset on the charging station in order to obtain optimum charging of the
storage batteries.
The handset is ready for operation only after the first charging; you can then make and receive
calls with the handset.
10.2.2.4 Duration of charging and use:
Charging time
: (empty storage batteries) full capacity - 4 to 6 h
Conversation time
: up to 5 h (with full charging)
