SceneVision users have a single camera configuration file associated with their
DeltaSphere system, and that file will be suggested as the default.

Reference Scan

As the operation loads range files you will be asked to specify the reference file in the

Choose

reference file

dialog box. The reference file is the scan to which all other scans of the same

scene will be

aligned

. Often the scan chosen is a 360

scan of the space – providing a frame of

reference for smaller scans of parts of the space. You can either choose one of the files at this

time, or cancel and choose a file during the

range align

procedure. (See section 9 for additional

information.)

Adding Files

It is not unusual to add files to a scene after it has been created. This is done with the

Insert

File

command in the File menu or by using ‘drag and drop’. Using the

Open File

command does not

add to a scene but, rather, prompts you to close the current scene and create a new one.
