Ground Plane
Specifies a plane to be the ground, e.g. horizontal. You first
must create a plane and select it. Then choose Ground Plane.
This is used for viewing the data from preset viewpoints and
for keeping the ground plane level.
Reset Ground Plane
Returns the ground plane to its original, scanned, coordinates.

The Select menu is only available when a scene is loaded.
Annotations
Puts cursor in mode for selecting annotations with the left
mouse button
Region (Visible)
Selects visible regions in VRML or RTPI data. Hold
Ctrl
and
the cursor changes to a pointing hand. Click on successive
points to outline the region. Double click to end the selection.
The last point will connect to the first and the data within the
region will be selected. In a VRML file the selected triangles
will turn red. (Note: The selection will be larger than the region
outlined because it will include entire triangles overlapping the
selected region.)
Region (All)
Selects regions in VRML or RTPI data whether visible or
hidden. Hold
Ctrl
and the cursor changes to a pointing hand.

end the selection. The last point will connect to the first and the
data within the region (including hidden data) will be selected.
In a VRML file the selected triangles will turn red. (Note: The

All Annotations
Selects all annotations in the active window. Annotations will
be highlighted both in the window and in the scene tree.
All Files
Selects all files in the scene tree (model data, range data, and
photo data)
Unselect All Objects
Unselects all objects – any item in the scene tree.
All Data in Window
Selects all data in the active window.
Unselect Data in Window
Unselects all data in the active window.
Data Above Plane
Selects all data on one side of the plane.
Data Below Plane
Selects all data on the other side of the plane.
Data Along Plane
Selects all data intersecting the plane.
Data By Value
Displays a popup dialog with which to select all data above or
below a particular value of X, Y, Z, Range, Azimuth, Elevation
or Intensity. You can specify whether the data selected is a new
selection or is to be added to, or subtracted from, any current
selection.
