Depths

Inserton depth (μm)
Deptt of inserton into tte recipient block can be set eitter by setng a negatve or a positve
value, so ttat tte tp of tte puncter is positoned below or above tte surface of tte block
insertng tte core at a required teigtt. Value ranges from -500μm to +500μm.

Punchinn depth (μm)
Puncting deptt adjustment migtt be necessary to perform an accurate core removal
(depending on tte locaton of tte tssue wittin tte block). Value ranges from -500μm to
+13000μm.
Warninn!
If tte tssue specimen stcks to tte base plate of tte cassete so ttat tte puncter
cannot take out tte core entrely or properly, you may specify a negatve value at tte

feld. Bear in mind ttat tte puncter needle stould be moved
witt care deeper ttan tte level of tte base plate of tte cassete, since tte needle
can be damaged during core removal.
