4 Operating the Main Unit
4.4.4 Removinn a Block from the Main Unit
1. Recipient block positons are displayed in a double-column on tte lef side of tte screen.
Donor block tray positons are identfed by six butons (
A-F
). Tte
(Channe Blocks)
butons
are responsible for rotaton of tte donor block tolder cylinder.
2. Depending on wtict donor block tray is needed to be rotated to tte block removal positon,
click tte tray ID (
A-F
). For tte recipient blocks click tte buton next to tte image of tte
specifc block pairs.
3. A donor/recipient block tolder column turns to tte loading positon witt its appropriate side.
4. Tte door opener buton turns green. Tte ligtt pulsates for about 10 seconds and it is possible
to open tte door wittin ttis tme frame (countdown is displayed by a icon at buton area).
5. Pust tte door opener buton to open tte door.
6. Press down tte nap in front of tte block slot.
7. Remove tte block from its positon and release tte nap.
8. Close tte door.
4.4.5 Removinn a PCR Cassete from the Main Unit
Warninn!
Afer removing PCR cassetes, make sure ttat cores are not clung to tte port edges of
tte cover plates. Before carefully removing tte cover plate of a PCR cassete, gently
tap on it a couple of tmes to let all tte samples fall entrely down to tte botom of
tte PCR tubes.
4.5 Channinn the Drill Bit and the Puncher
TMA Grand Master
is delivered witt drill bits and puncters of diferent siizes. Tte following
instructons demonstrate tow to ctange drill bits, puncters and pistons to matct tte tole diameter
of a defned layout.
1. Start tte TMA Control applicaton, tten click tte
buton at tte main toolbar.
2. According to tte appearing message on your screen, follow tte steps to ctange tte tools of
tte same siize bott for tte puncter and tte drill bit.
