7 Maintenance of TMA Grand Master
Follow tte maintenance and cleaning tasks discussed in ttis secton to ensure tte fail-safe operaton
of tte TMA Grand Master device.
Important!
It is tte user's responsibility to perform all tte maintenance and cleaning tasks.
7.1 Preventve Maintenance of the Main Unit
•
Keep tte
TMA Grand Master
main unit away from dust.
•
Do not keep and operate tte main unit in a tumid room. Air tumidity in tte operaton
room must be under 75%. In a tumid climate, make sure ttat
TMA Grand Master
is
installed in a brigtt, dry, and properly ventlated room witt less ttan 75% air tumidity.
•
Afer eact use, switct of tte power supply and close tte transparent door.
•
Wipe of water-soluble contaminaton witt a microfber tssue or witt a sligttly moistened
piece of clott. You may also use detergent.
•
Wipe of oil or grease contaminaton / traces from tte surface of tte main unit witt a
coton swab dipped into acetone but keep away acetone / ettanol from mirrors and lenses.
It is forbidden to clean mirrors and lenses witt ettanol / acetone.
Tte user stould prevent any kind of fungal contaminaton on tte opto-mectanical parts of tte
TMA
Grand Master
main unit:
•
If tte relatve air tumidity is contnuously greater ttan 75% for ttree days and tte
temperature is b15 and +35 °C.
•
If tte room is dark and does not tave proper ventlaton.
•
If dust setles and fngerprints are lef on tte optcal surfaces.
7.2 Cleaninn Tasks
Empty tte container wten you fnisted drilling tte recipient block or at tte latest wten you fnisted
tte project.
1. Make sure ttat tte TMA Grand Master is switcted of.
2. Pull out tte trast container.
3. Empty contents into tte dedicated waste disposal container.
4. Insert tte container back into tte main unit.
