5 Using TMA Grand Master
5.4 Insertnn Donor Blocks
1. Insert donor blocks into tte frst tray, positons A1-10. For more informaton see secton
4.4.3

Warninn!
Make sure not to insert parafn blocks ttat do not contain tssue samples in tte slots
of tte donor tray, because tte puncter piston may stuck and break into tte block
causing severe malfuncton.
2. On eact tray, donor block positons are numbered from lef to rigtt, startng witt

sctematc picture of tte frst donor block you want to use. Tte camera also records tte label
area of tte donor block. Tte label area below tte preview image is displayed by default. If
tte label is upside-down, click .
3. Tte Donor block ID must be entered into tte text feld below tte donor block image. Afer
entering tte donor block ID and titng enter (or clicking tte buton), tte label area
disappears automatcally. Click to make tte label area reappear.
NOTEn
If you tave already imported donor block data from a fle (tte last imported data is
used, and also merge is recommended), tte list of Donor IDs relevant to tte string appear
wtile entering tte ID. Searct for tte ID from tte list and click it to accept.

NOTEn
Wten reloading a project, blocks must be loaded to tte same positons witt tte
previously set IDs entered into tte label feld. Otterwise you can accept tte new positon by
clicking

If you tave already logged in to CaseCenter, afer acceptng tte donor ID, click
and
tte sofware automatcally searctes for tte corresponding slide stored on tte server.
