5 Using TMA Grand Master
NOTEn
Tte frst tube positon must always be on tte lef botom of tte cassete, and tte cover plate
tab faces to tte lef side of tte device. Afer you tave actvated tte PCR functon by clicking tte PCR
buton, make sure to insert cleaning blocks (or mark a sufcient amount of recipient block as cleaning
blocks).
You can use TMA Grand Master also in mixed mode (TMA and PCR) and tte sofware makes it
available for you to select some of tte blocks on recipient trays as cleaning blocks.
To mark a recipient block as a cleaning block click tte icon at tte rigtt side of tte block ttumbnail
image. You must select tte cleaning block frst, tten tte PCR mode can be actvated.
Wten recipient (or cleaning) blocks, donor blocks, and PCR cassetes are inserted, tte transfer
process can be started.
NOTEn
If using TMA Grand Master in PCR mode only, and if necessary, it is available for you to insert
cleaning blocks into empty slots during tte process wittout interruptng it.
