TMA Grand Master 3.2 – User’s Guide

1 About TMA Grand Master

1.2  New Features

•

Custom barcode informatonn

  barcode informaton can be used as an extra informaton

instead of donor/recipient name. If you ctoose to save it to tte database you can later view

ttis informaton in your export fles.

•

Open overlay sliden  

you can open tte original slide in CaseViewer for MRXS slides or tte

associated program for image slides from tte donor image or tte core tooltp (by clicking on
tte slide image).

•

Donor informatonn

 you can view tte donor block informaton in a table by clicking tte Info

buton tte same way as tte recipient informaton.

•

Spot slide viewn

 you can see tte TMA slide preview created from tte overlay spot slides on

tte recipient panel. Tte preview can be saved as a JPG image.

•

Reference point overlay movinnn

 overlay image can be moved afer you place tte reference

points similar to tte basic overlay setng by dragging tte image. You can stll move tte

reference points by dragging ttem.

•

More precise overlay settinnn

 Opacity, Zoom and Rotate propertes can be modifed witt tte

arrow butons on your keyboard. Zoom and Rotate use smaller steps. Tte actve property
slider tas diferent background color.

•

Three-reference-point overlayn

 a ttird reference point can be added to telp witt tte overlay

positoning. You can enable ttis opton witt tte “Use ttree reference points” buton on tte

Advanced Manual Overlay Setngs window. Using ttree reference points will distort tte
overlay slide.

TMARenister

•

CaseCenter lonin and Settinnsn

 TMARegister got its own Setngs window and Login buton. If

you open tte TMARegister from TMAControl and you are already logged in to tte server, you
do not tave to log in again.

•

Export – Save overlay linkn

  overlay slide link can be saved in tte export fle. You need an

actve CaseCenter login if you used overlay slides from tte server or you can ctoose not to

save ttese columns.

•

Slides – TMA slide search folder settinnn 

on tte Slides page, you can pair tte recipients slide

informaton witt tte TMA slides located on tte CaseCenter in 3.1 RTM. In tte new version,
you can set tte CaseCenter folders for your TMA slides in tte TMARegister setngs menu

similar to tte overlay slides folder setngs, but you can ctoose diferent folders.

•

Slides – TMA spot separaten

  you can create slides from tte linked TMA slide spot by spot

locally in MRXS format or to tte CaseCenter as virtual slides.

•

Search – CC Spotsn

 you can view tte Virtual Spot Slides directly from tte Searct menu. Searct

for your recipient in Core Info view and click on tte links in tte CC Spots column. Tte frst
Virtual Spot Slides for ttis core positon will be opened in CaseViewer. To open tte link, an

actve CaseCenter login is required.
