5 Using TMA Grand Master
NOTEn
Ttere is a icon at tte botom of ttis buton, and if you click it tte layout will be deleted.
New layout (TMA block array) can be created or edited in tte Layout Editor window. Already existng
layout can be selected from tte
Select Layout
drop-down list.
Wten you create a new patern, you defne tte block layout. Type tte name of your new layout into
tte
Name
textbox (maximum lengtt is 20 ctaracters).

Actual tool Diameter
feld at tte top of tte Layout Editor panel informs you about tte
tool diameter of tte puncter and tte drill bit inserted into tte device. Ttis value cannot be
modifed, and will be applied for tte layout to be created.

Columns

Rows
, and
Gap
value in tte Grid propertes secton.
NOTEn
Afer inserton tte puncter moves sideways to break tte core. As ttis movement is
not possible in some cases (wittout contactng witt an already inserted core), please raise
tte
Gap
value to prevent contaminaton and tte core from being damaged. If setng a lower
value ttan advised, tte sofware informs you to raise tte value, but it does not protibit tte
usage of a lower
Gap
value.

If you want to create a patern in wtict some of tte grid positons (column/row intersecton)
are not marked as a tole to drill, disable ttose positons you want

to skip
during drilling.

Single tole: in tte layout, click a core positon ttat you want to leave out.
